I didn't get a better title for today's post.So, I decided to
plagiarize Ralph Nader ,who in 1965 published a book with that title-Unsafe at
any speed,-where he denounced the lack of North American auto industry's interest
in producing safer cars, choosing as
scapegoat the Chevrolet Corvair.
But, the issue is not that. The
subject is the safety or lack of what we produce in our habitat. When accidents and tragedies happen within a very short time we say that "the
witches are loose". Let’s look at the facts:-
An accident with a transatlantic
causes a lot of deaths and losses of any nature.A few days later, as if by
coincidence. in a risky maneuver, another transatlantic almost has the same
fate and newspapers didnt waste any time in manufacturing labels – the
Commander was also Italian. The news tell us that Airbus finds new cracks in the
giant A-380, but these do not compromise flight safety!
